The adventure/ horror novel Dream Shade ‾ The Chosen

Meet Kane Arthur Goodman, the laughing stock of the middle school. Day after day it’s the same old thing; clothes ragged, hair a mess, barely any muscle tone, no attention span and easily forgettable. The only time he seems to snap out of his constant daze is when a fight breaks out. Even then, when he tries to save the innocent, he gets stomped. Badly. Meet the new Principal of the school, Mill Andrew Kinner. Upon first glance of young Kane he immediately begins to question Kane’s demeanor. However, he is quickly shunned by the faculty and staff who stay as far away as possible. Why? Because people die who get involved with Kane. Violently. Horribly. Sickeningly. As soon as someone begins to speak of Kane they begin to physically die right in front of Kinner’s face. Anyone who tries to improve the mood and lifestyle of Kane is hunted by the Shadow Men. Absolutely anyone. Kinner interferes anyway and finds himself in pointblank range of a stunningly cruel evil. It will take all of his love, faith, and determination to get behind the answers that keep Kane in his dull state and to break the seal of evil bestowed upon Kane. He will even go through hell itself if he has to. If Kinner fails humanity will never know why Kane is The Chosen. This is the prequel to the very fist book published by Daniel C. Morrison, Dream Shade ‾ Suit of Aragnon: Kane’s Quest. That book is out of print now and has been known to sell for over eighty dollars. A revision is in the works so if you can find this book somewhere don’t hesitate to pick it up.

Dream Shade‾ Suit of Aragnon: Kane’s Quest

Long ago, the most powerful sorcerer in existence fell. His bones were used by evil to create a supernatural suit that binds to the body, mind and soul of anyone who wears it. It has the power to recall every strategy and skill ever used by any of its occupants. The suit must be destroyed. Meet Kane, the latest occupant of the suit of Aragnon. With the help of Charles and Sylvia, an engaged couple with mysterious ties to its past, Kane must go in and out of the dream world in search of a crystal that will tap into the suit’s powers and destroy all evil on Earth. He must retrieve the crystal before a team of a Master Vampire and the Queen of Witches do. It’s an adventurous race against time alternating between the dream world and the real world. You will encounter werewolves, zombies, angels, demons, otherworldly creatures, sorcerers, witches, vampires, succubus, ghosts and more. The only safe place in this world is in the Dream Shade. This story is out of print now and very hard to find. It goes for over eighty dollars in some places so if you get a chance to own this book don’t hesitate to pick it up. It was originally a stand alone story intended for people with short attention spans and those who like action and adventure to turn the pages instead of much character depth. Since it did so well with that group and not other groups a prequel was written, Dream Shade ‾ The Chosen. Having success with that book a revision of this book is in the works. Keep an eye out for the entire series in years to come and enjoy an experience unlike any other.
