This site gives you a sample of my hard/soft/world rock. I'm way too busy now to pursue music anymore but I am leaving this site up anyway. You can read reviews in my comments section and about the contests my songs has won. For instance Down To Size, World Around Me and I Choose have been aired on the local radio station in Louisville, KY on a local radio show hosted by 105.1 WLRS. The song World Around Me won Best Rock Song. The acoustic song It's Gonna Rain won Best Country Song even though it is not really a country song. The world rock/mediation song The Edge Of Waves won Best World Rock song. A Light In You won a contest for Best Christian Song. The site was pretty cool as people voted for dozens of different types of contest categories. That's where I won all these contests, at SizzleFizzle.com but since then the site turned into a video site only. Bummer.
Daniel C. Morrison's rap/hip hop style under the name Upryze
In an effort to help my cousin, the rap sensation from Louisville, KY Trajik, Upryze was formed. Using a unique rock voice style on some of the hottest beats that there is, a very surprising, entertaining result hit the music scene. Since I had to focus on other projects a pause has been put on this project. However, Upryze also formed a group with Trajik known as Mirage. "Daniel C. Morrison did not have an easy road trying to get his talents out there for the world to experience. Having to learn musical instruments, how to publish his own book, how to draw book covers and take photos for his stuff and learning how to format and design a book from scratch was tough. He did it though. In an effort to help others figure out how to do everything on their own and to offer some mild free exposure he created this company. Being the President of the company has its advantages and there will be people out there who will be happy to benefit from his generosity." Ah yes, I am leaving this as well since I tried to start doing this type of stuff. Honestly, not many people were interested in help. Most of them thought my generosity was too good to be true. I team up with the Louisville Rap sensation, Trajik aka: Capital T sometimes. When this powerhouse is together we are the group known as Mirage. With a variety of serious issues, comedy, unrelentless hooks and a rock/hip hop style unlike any other it would be a shame for you not to experience it. This is a project planned to start again soon so keep your fingers crossed. After all, with positive reviews from artists and producers in all types of music styles why would we cut this out?
